RICE CAMP HISTORY

Rice Camp is a 33 3/4 wooded  acres tract of land
located in Stone County, Missouri on Table Rock
Lake, for the recreational use by the members of
the Gate of the Temple Lodge.
As you enter Rice Camp your are welcomed by
the Gate of the Temple - Rice Memorial Park Sign
There are several amenities for use by the
Lodge members.



The pavilion is the activity and meeting center
for Rice Camp.  It is equipped with a full kitchen
for meal preparation.  Gate of the Temple Lodge
members may reserve the pavilion for their
personal use.  Those interested in having an
activity there should contact Bill (Homey)
Pollard to make your reservations.  



Directly across from the pavilion is a
playground equipped for all ages of children.  
A tennis court is available for those athletically
inclined.



For those who enjoy water activities Rice
Camp offers swimming at the swimming
hole.  Boaters may launch their boats from a
fully paved boat ramp.  For those avid
boaters there are several docks that may
have slips available for purchase.  Rice
Camp does not have any association with
these docks other than a great number of
members have use of them
